French Onion Soup using Watkins Products

I first learned to cook using Watkins Products and their easy to follow recipes. Even though Watkins company started back in 1868, their recipes were still tasty in the 1990’s when I first discovered them. Now, I’ve re-discovered the simplicity of using their award-winning ingredients and I thought this blog would be the perfect place to introduce them to you.

No time like the present to get started. Here’s a recipe using Watkins Onion Soup base and Beef Base and spices.

  5. 1 TB/15ml Watkins Onion Soup & Gravy Mix

To serve, spoon hot soup into ovenproof bowls or mugs; float french bread slices and sprinkle with remaining cheese. broil until cheese is bubbly and brown.
